about me
I am fascinated by the human experience and enjoy connecting on a deep level with people. I believe listening and being present are crafts that take time to cultivate, and I approach psychotherapy as an art (as well as a science). I am conversationally fluent in Spanish and French, and have lived in California, New York, France and Bolivia.
In order to best serve my clients, I regularly participate in my own therapy and seek peer consultation about my caseload. More than my professional training, it is what I have learned (and continue to learn) on my personal healing journey that lends vitality and richness to my work with others.
I live with my husband, two small children, and our beloved dog Charlie in Goleta, California.
Credentials
I received my Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College in 2006 and my Masters in Counseling Psychology with an Emphasis in Depth Psychotherapy from Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2013. I have been licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2016. I am a Clinical Member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and SBCAMFT.
